Q. What is your service area?
A. Better Label primarily serves the Southern United States: Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, Virginia, Texas and Kentucky. However, we have industrial customers throughout America.
Q. What is your most popular label?
A. One of the most popular labeling methods, pressure sensitive labels (PS labels) has it all, convenience and versatility. They are self-adhesive and compatible with almost any container material, shape or product type. Pressure Sensitive Labels combine easy label application and a very low entry quantity.
Our customers like pressure sensitive labels for contoured surfaces and squeezable containers. The clear film options have a world of possibilities for revealing more of the product inside. Pressure Sensitive are an optimal choice for food, beverage, wine and spirits, household chemicals and automotive products.
Q. Are you new to the industry?
A. We’re proven pros. We’ve been solving industrial clients’ labeling challenges for more than 40 years.
Q. What support and repair plans do you offer?
A. We keep an extensive parts inventory and have factory trained technicians available to repair equipment and train your personnel.
Q. How can we see your equipment and solutions in action?
A. We’d be glad to make that happen for you. We can schedule an “in-plant” demonstration for you at our Atlanta headquarters.
Q. We need to print barcodes on our product labels which of your products do we need?
A. Thermal label printers and Thermal transfer printers are ideal for bar code printing because they produce accurate, high-quality images with excellent edge definition. Thermal printers are engineered to print within tight tolerances and to produce the exact bar widths that successful bar code printing and scanning require. Each technology can produce one- and two-dimensional bar code symbologies, graphics and text at the same print resolutions and speeds. Better Label has both.
Q. What is the difference Direct Thermal and Thermal Transfer Printing?
A. There are two thermal printing methods: direct thermal and thermal transfer. Each method uses a thermal printhead that applies heat to the surface being marked. Thermal transfer printing uses a heated ribbon to produce durable, long-lasting images on a wide variety of materials. No ribbon is used in direct thermal printing, which creates the image directly on the printed material. Direct thermal media is more sensitive to light, heat and abrasion, which reduces the life of the printed material.
Q. Does Better Label and Products Inc. hire Freight Forwarders or Logistics Companies ?
A. No. Our customers make the decisions regarding how a machine will be sent to them. We do not make the decision for them.
Q. Are You an Official Essential and Verified USA Business?
A. Yes. Better Label and Products Inc. has been recognized and awarded the standing of “Official Verified Supplier” by Thomasnet.com. This ranking was awarded after undergoing “a complete review and validation of all products and services” that we offer.
We are also recognized as an “Essential Business.”
Q. What are the differences, if any, between Pressure Sensitive Labels and Self Adhesive Labels for Business Use?
There are no significant differences between self-adhesive labels and pressure-sensitive labels. They are both terms that describe the same type of label that has a pre-applied adhesive with a removable backing. These labels are similar to stickers, but they are thicker and more durable. They can be applied to various substrates by applying pressure, without needing any activation steps like wetting or heating3. These labels are very popular for product labeling because they are versatile, cost-effective, and resistant to various environmental factors. At Better Label and Products, we can print using custom designs for your existing graphics our professional artists and designers can “refresh your designs” or start from scratch.
